PST is an abbreviation used for polystyrene, a thermoplastic polymer obtained from the polymerisation of styrene. It is valued for its rigidity, low weight, dimensional stability, ease of processing and good aesthetic performance, especially in transparent grades. It can be used in moulding, extrusion and thermoforming for packaging, trays, containers, disposable items, displays, household appliance components, electronics and industrial applications.
