PMMA is a transparent thermoplastic engineering polymer valued for its high light transmission, glossy surface, rigidity, dimensional stability and good weather resistance. It is an effective alternative to glass when low weight, aesthetic quality and processability are required. It is used in extrusion and moulding for sheets, displays, illuminated signs, LED diffusers, lenses, automotive components, lighting parts, furniture and technical applications.
