Theatre becomes matter. And matter is reborn on stage.
Last weekend at the Teatro Era in Pontedera (PI), the national premiere of “De Bergerac” was staged, starring Anna Foglietta, Edoardo Leo, and Marco Bonini.
An original text by Michele Santeramo that overturns the story of Cyrano, telling of his refusal to relive, once again, his own pain.
A performance that takes shape in progress, just like the space that hosts it: an imperfect, fragile, and beautiful set design made from recycled plastic materials.
The stage was designed by Marco Ghidelli and created using 3D printing by R3direct, with granules produced by Revet by recycling plastic packaging from Tuscany’s separate waste collection, and distributed by Febo3R.
A collaboration that demonstrates how matter, even discarded matter, can once again become form, narrative, and emotion.
We are pleased with the success of this preview and proud to have contributed to giving material form to this “work in progress.”
