Febo and Westlake Polyethylene Sign a Distribution Agreement for Italy and Greece
MILAN, ITALY – June 1st, 2026
Febo S.p.A. and Westlake Corporation today announced the signing of a distribution agreement under which Febo will act as the authorized distributor of Westlake Polyethylene (PE) products in Italy and Greece. The agreement, effective immediately, marks a significant step in both companies’ commitment to growth and commercial excellence in Southern Europe.
Under the terms of the agreement, Febo will distribute Westlake Polyethylene resin grades to industrial converters, packaging manufacturers, pipe producers, and other end-use sectors across the two countries. The agreement combines Westlake’s global production capacity with Febo’s deep local market knowledge, logistics infrastructure, and established commercial relationships in Italy and Greece.
Westlake Polyethylene’s business includes a broad range of LDPE, LLDPE, EVA grades serving customers worldwide across packaging, pipe, wire and cable, and industrial applications. Westlake operates world-scale production assets and maintains a strong commitment to product quality, safety, and sustainability.
The agreement reflects the shared strategic intent of both organizations to build a durable, growth-oriented commercial relationship. Westlake’s polyethylene resins ― produced to the highest standards of quality ― will be supported by Febo’s dedicated commercial and technical service teams, operating from their facilities in Italy and in Greece.
For Westlake, the agreement strengthens its commercial footprint in Southern Europe and provides a reliable, experienced partner to support converters in two strategically important markets. Italy and Greece represent a significant share of European PE consumption, with stable demand across flexible and rigid packaging, agriculture, construction, and infrastructure applications.
For Febo, this agreement represents a meaningful expansion of its commercial offering. By adding Westlake’s premium polyethylene grades to its portfolio, Febo will be able to propose new and more complete solutions to its existing and prospective customers, combining the reliability of a well-established distribution network with the performance of a globally recognized, top-tier product. The inclusion of Westlake PE is expected to open new market segments and strengthen Febo’s positioning as a full-service polyolefin distributor in Southern Europe.
The agreement provides for the distribution by Febo Group of polyethylene product families, including LDPE film and injection molding grades, TRUCOAT® LDPE extrusion coating, as well as HIFOR® LLDPE C4/C6 and ELEVATE® EVA grades.
Both companies have expressed confidence that the partnership will be mutually beneficial, generating value for their customers through improved product availability, technical support, and supply chain reliability.
