Founded in 1995 by Adelio Carrera, CGT was established with the aim of offering high-level technical and commercial service in the field of engineering polymers.
Starting from Lombardy, the company grew rapidly to cover the main industrial areas of Northern Italy, from the Triveneto area to Piedmont, becoming a benchmark for the distribution of engineering polymers and for technical support to plastics processing companies.
CGT’s strength lies in a network of qualified professionals with a strong local presence, able to support customers with expertise and continuity.
Over time, the collaboration with Febo S.p.A. was consolidated, evolving from a commercial partnership into a true strategic integration: first with the acquisition of a shareholding in 2019, and then with the full acquisition in 2024.
Today, CGT is part of CGT Guberti S.p.A., a Febo Group company, and is a leading player on the national market in the distribution of engineering polymers, technologies and consultancy services supporting the main industrial sectors.
